Forbes ill be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I was feeling bummed cause I had a wreck a couple of weeks ago, but seeing a guy handle this as well as you puts me in perspective. I hope you are up and about soon, and I'm glad you got family to help you out.

Did I mention that you guys are simply the greatest? Lol. To receive such love and support from guys who never knew I existed until January of this year is simply overwhelming. Anyway here's a progress report. At my mom's house being spoiled. My mother is almost 85 , and she has her own issues such as severe arthritis in her right knee. But she's a fighter. This morning she got up and cooked me breakfast, went to her garden and worked until almost noon, then cooked me lunch and made certain that I ate it.

As for me, the home care nurse says I'm healing nicely .
I was feeling stir crazy because I've NEVER been stuck inside for two weeks. So before it got too hot, I had my nephew stand close in case I needed help. And I used my Walker to walk around the OUTSIDE of the house. When using my upper body and one leg, It was different and slow going. But praise God I DID IT! A small step. But I'm on my way back.

Nope. No invalids here. Move along. Maybe people with a few dents and scrapes, that's all. This is a picture in the dictionary above the word, "Trooper". HOO-rah! for Forbes and Mom!

Appetite coming back. Injury healing slow and steady. Pain slowly decreasing but decreasing nonetheless. Now I'm learning the lessons in patience that I've preached to others about so often. I'm just waiting until I can begin the process of being fitted for a prosthetic leg and begin that phase. It will come soon. I just wish it was sooner. But I'll wait. And I WILL succeed.
