Ha! got the bigger weights today, but didn't get to play with yet,Wife wants me to do some summer time upgrades to the house(there needed),and the bug hatch this year is insane (screen doors).I'll let ya know tomarrow,i hope, the ceiling fan project is not going well yet.Is there an american made fan that doesn't suck!!!I have two from the 70's that kick ass,the new stuff is not even close and didn't go cheap.(need them to blow)Still wondering was your belt hitting the starter gear, the drive face gear or just melting down?

..with the ncy drive face, i'm sure it was hitting the starter gear...

..on the outside of the belt...

..wearing a groove, about 1/8" ftom the inner edge...

..now, i LIKE the way it's performing, even with my issues, aaaand with the bits i stated below...

..impatiently waitng for my reeds, cause i still remember dropping the speedometer a good 1/4" below the 60mph mark...

..before i snapped that first belt...

..dammit...

Pull the electric start gear I think you can still kick start, the gear just slips out, this is theory have not tried, should eleminate that problem, the smaller belt and heat should be a weight issue(slipping)I think, might be looking at that ncy myself unless there are some others to look at,I use the kick start mostly anyway. Now if we could get an upgear in the works I think 100mph is obtainable.  ;D

..i'm sure it will kick...i keep that in working order just in case..........

..i ran my a50 without the starter bendix installed for over a year..

..gonna need the 95mm variator, plus some grinding of the casing around the starter, to get this belt riding high on the ncy drive face...

....i might do that later on...

I agree havn't road the s9 I see the potential just don't like the small tires,an lc in the people would be the sh**e!I have put this thing some abuse and seems to thrive on it,who would of knew,I got 4 honda's sitting here and don't think they can do what the people can.Didn't have the xz long enouph to play but the people was smoking it in stock form!Up to the 2005 models

Todays trial and trb the 12g did nothing for the mid but created a crazy hit after 40 mph no more belt dust, polishing the veriater and boss and seemed to improve the take off a little and tranny running way cooler,Bike running like crap after 55 seems to be peaking the power band again  ??? .Tried the 11g not much difference, little more mid that was about it.Tore down carb at least a teaspoon of water(thanks to a local shell station) back to chevron.Seems I'm loseing ground here with the heat long belt and stock drive face   ::) . Going to try to run all these test again with the 23100 belt then look to a new drive face. Not sure what i'm missing here, but think i was doing better with the stock set and long belt except the mid sucked.

Kinda sucks but wait till you get into the 2t you will like the simplicity of the motor. You can do a top end in less than an hour.splitting the cases a little more involved and the age old delemma since your there what do ya want to do with it.At least you got to see the power and  potential.
