..they act like valves on a 4t..they are thin "petals" of stainless steel that flex open and slam closed at the chamber's intake...

..carbon fibre upgrades are available, and the difference in their thickness..(.030-.033" per say) determine low and top end power..they react similar to variator roller weight adjustments...

Ha! I kinda knew that part What and where did you order,We used to cut are own but i usualy had better luck with a new set of boisen's,I got no patience and didn't know the glue trick

The the carbin fiber are usualy a bit snappier and open better at WOT.all have to have a look hav'ent opend any of mine yet.

Havn't tried it on the scoots,but my brand new dirt bikes that would be the first to go while waiting on a pipe.It did make a difference.

You are doing fine without it,The carb is the bottle neck up to 2005,But it won't sound like a tecnigas  ;D actually my bro in laws sounded pretty good,carb only thing holding it back from the 55 to 60 range with his 250+ butt on it
