Hi fellow Aussie, can you tell me what your top speed is now? As our H/Ways up here in the Top End have a max of 110 -130 KM.  EZRider

Hi to you wordslinger,

I am trying to get some input from Venox owners on the back cog mod. In the std form I can squeeze around 130 Km out of my Venox (max speed on our H/Way) in 4th, without going to full throttle, problems is that it vibrates so much that the back brake peddle nut came off and rounded the bolt down applying the back brake (not good). I have since added a 2nd nut to lock off the bolt.

..wow..

...vibration of that magnitude could be caused by a screwed up tire..

..one would think that there would have to be a lot of ..mass out of balance.. to cause that much vibration...

..at what speed does it begin...

..is it incremental...get worse with higher speeds??

..is it coming from the front or the rear...should be able to get a "FEEL" from it's origin...

..or, it coulda just been a fastener that worked loose...

..my left-hand, center stand pivot shoulder bolt, backed itself out...

..the ONLY fastener that has ever worked loose on my scoot tho...

Oil makes a difference too with so few km on your bike. Make sure you've done your first oil change at 1k km. The oil that's in there from the factory isn't the oil you wanna be running. The factory oil shipped in your bike helps the gears to mesh together properly (for breaking in the engine). I use a semi-synthetic oil.

Hi Adri,

Yes the oil was changed at 1000KM, I have almost 2000Km on it now. I ordered the 44T sprocket from Kymco Biz (Power Sports in Prescott AZ, USA) it arrived yesterday. I still need to buy a chain locally & fit it, hopefully this weekend. Also your 10,000KM review on your web page was great. One of the reasons I purchased the Venox, that and the Honda Shadow 750 & Hoysung GV650 being $6000 AUD more.

EZRIDER. ;D
