I think that any fuel additive in a well maintained and regularly services scoot that is driven at least every week or two is absolutely not necessary.
I would use it ONLY, and ONLY if I had to store the bike over the winter (or for some other reason) in order to stabilize the fuel and prevent "gumming up".
Never used it, nobody here uses it and nobody needs it. I think that in the long run it can only cause problems.
I am well aware that this goes against Seafoam clan on the forum.

I need more info on why you are cleaning all of those things.
Is the scooter not running properly?
Keep in mind that if Seafoam or some other solvent is working junk off your carb, bits of varnish may be going elsewhere.
I proper carb cleaning sounds like it is in order.

I was wondering the same. However, this is "US" thing. No people in Europe are using such cleaners.
They are simply not necessary, especially not as a prevention. If something gets clogged up, carb has to be disassembled and cleaned and that's it. However, that happens almost never, at least never happened to me.

I put Seafoam in all my gas things as a stabilizer cleaner, even chain saws, generator, all bikes that are sitting a while, etc.

When my '07 Silverado went into the shop for an 02 sensor, the Chevy dealership tech put a can of Seafoam into it just to make sure the injectors were clean. He said they recommend it and use it in the shop a lot. The nice thing was that I wasn't charged for it. Its about $8 around here at Walmart.
