I'm new to this king of thing...
« on: August 26, 2016, 02:16:29 PM »
It doesn't matter how much you have, you always want more...

As it is for money, so it is for power...I figured that there would be somebody on here to offer advice.

I've had a J300 Kwak for a month now, it's got a limiter on it of some kind as it falters at 150KMH (93mph)

I have owned it from new, I got it last month. It's got over 3000 miles on it now after a trip to Europe to watch some MotoGP racing in Austria and Czech Republic.

I'm not bothered about going much faster, but quicker acceleration would be great. I have heard of different variator kits, but which would be best...and can anyone point me to a vid on how's best to fit one please?

Thanks in advance

Man, that first picture is great!
This is the rebadged Kawasaki 300 ? How about a full report on your findings with this scooter....don't think it is or will be available in the States...at least not as a Kawasaki.
Is it exactly running the same parts as the DT300 Kymco? if so you probably will find some advice for the CVT mods here.
But, if you like it...why fool with a good running, reliable set-up.  If you want more anything....buy a bigger bike?
Can we see some more pix of the country-side and the bike?
Thanks, Stig

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

In answer to your question, I just thought that a bit more zip 'off the line' might be easily achieved. I'm happy as it stands really...

My trip took me by ferry, firstly to Holland. From there I had a 465 mile trip down through Germany, to Austria. I spent a few days exploring and watching the real fast men doing what they do.

Up to Czech Republic next for a three day visit to Prague. Lovely place.

Off down to Brno to watch the GP again, then home... 2895 miles on, what effectively is a Downtown 300.

I think it's run in now.

A couple more for you to look at...the FireBlade in the last few was my last bike.

Some shots in Austria, some in the Czech Republic.

Wow, great scenery! Thanks for sharing the beautiful landscape with us! I'm impressed with how much you packed under the seat - good job!

Really stunning pictures! That seat tub nicely packed is definitely the same as the Downtown. Those guys in Kaoshiung are really busy! You have a great ride!
