I went for a ride.
« on: August 29, 2016, 07:21:32 PM »
;D last Thursday I got up, got dressed, loaded my bag on the Downtown and rode 260 miles to Nashville In. I spent 3 days in Nashville attending the BEAN BLOSSOM BLUES FESTIVAL. Sunday I got up, Got dressed,  loaded my Downtown and rode 260 miles back to St. Charles Mo. The DT was flawless, ran 65/70 mph and averaged slightly over 80 mpg. A couple of times the DT snuck up 80 mph an I had to reign it back.  8) Looking forward to more longer rides.

What a great trip and testimony! I see you are as enthusiastic about your DT as I am about mine!

Not surprised, the DT is more than capable of long rides.

And to a Blues Festival, no less. Makes it even better !

We take ours ( shorter ride- 150 miles round trip) to the North Atlantic Blues Festival, in Rockland,Maine ( Lobster Festival town) every July.

Elvin Bishop headliner this year.
