We don't have that in the US.  But it seems like a pretty cool bike.  What color did you get?

This response from a post may help you out some. No one could find sprocket kits for the venox, and these guys showed up! Welcome to the forum!

G Day aus250..

Glad to see a member from 'down under' riding/owning a Kymco Nox 250

Here is your answer:

What you have is a bike that is geared really to high in 5th gear. Its almost a 1:1 ratio, an 'overdrive'. A real issue for a new rider with steep hills or going into strong winds. This is about the only issue about this great bike.

What we at piwyr.co.cc recommend is a rear sprocket replacement. Many have done this mod and ALL AGREE it is the best mod you can do for the bike. We even set up a couple shipments from the USA resource to Spain where they have had the bike since 2002.

With out this mod your only choice to step down a gear to 4th to get back into a power band. The problem with this is it revs the engine really high (no issue with any damage as the Nox has a rev limiter) which hurts gas milage.

Get the rear sprocket upgrade and your Nox will feel like you have added cc's !!   Forgot to paste!

This is my very 1st  ever motorbike! I use to ride when i was young, immature (and unlicensed), but thought that i should take the legal route as a mature adult and want a big bike in the long run when my CBT has expired. this bike gets 100 mpg (possibly more ''with very sensible riding''). in doing research to find out about 'Kymco'. I've learned they used to build engines for Honda,BMW & some other manufacturers but in the last few year have decided to put their own name on their builds. I was going to get a Lexmoto XTR 125 (Kaisar) but when i check waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy back to both manufacturers history Lexmoto have only been around for the past 3 or 4 years. Whereas Kymco have been building for 36 years,so have experience.  When i looked at the spec of both vehicles there was no contest... and now that i have my 'Kymco Pulsar LX 125' i've definately without a doubt made the right choice. it goes like s**t off a shovel (this being only upto 40mph so far as i'm breaking the engine in and can only do 40mph maximum until i get upto a certain mileage). it looks very good for a commuter bike, and i don't get any weird looks or stares as i pass other motorist. yeah i know i've only had it for 5 days but so far my verdict is 10/10.

anyone else got a Kymco Pulsar (please post some pics 'regardless of what year, colour or condition it's in')... going to take a few pics now so that i can post them up for you all to see on Thursday.
see yall later

the top speed is 65mph.
I'm building up the mileage then when the warranty finishes in 2 years will get it de-restricted, and will go for my DAS, to get a bigger bike.

Very sporty looking! I love the fairing on the head lamp! That definitely looks like a much bigger bike. There are no restrictions on that model, so you can cross that off the to=do list. Butttttt, You could always add a pipe/carb/open filter, and fiddle w/ the gear ratio's. I would expect 80mph out of it.
