PHILIPS CityVison Moto bulb report
« on: August 31, 2016, 02:16:03 PM »
I recently installed the new PHILIPS CityVision Moto bulb in my LIKE200iLX.
The cut-off of the new bulb's beam was distinct, but pretty high. (Actually on the roof of houses)

I went to cyclepedia.com for the headlight adjustment instructions - and turned IN the screw a few whole turns - watching the beam move down on my garage door. (after marking the orig. spot with tape)

I took the scooter out in the dark this morning and found the headlight aim to be much better -  giving me a better view of the dark road in front of the scooter.

In a few days I'll take it out on a completely dark & deserted road and play some more with the adjustment.

I like it.

Really great report! Use a runway or better a taxiway at some small, local uncontrolled airport.

Gave it one more turn in before setting off in the dark this morning.
Better. Now even the high beam is playing on the street surface ahead of me....rather than into the shrubbery somewhere in space.
Lost screw has not yet reappeared in my rear City Grip.
FingersX'd.

I have to recheck mine Stig and see how high it is sitting.
