Added another one to my fleet.....
« on: September 02, 2016, 11:36:33 AM »
Yup, added an 8th scoot to my fleet. A 2006 Vespa LX 150. This one is actually for my wife. I'm surprising her with it today when she gets home from a business trip. I hope she likes it! If not, I've got dibs on it :-).

I cannot imagine why she would not like it! That is a good looking scooter.  Any idea on the top speed of the Vespa 150?

I really would like to ride a Vespa just to have that experience.

The Vespa is topping out at about 55mph. My wife says the difference between riding the Vespa LX 150 and her Like 200 is like night and day. Unlike her Like 200, her Vespa is much smoother, better acceleration, little to no vibration and just all around feels much sturdier. She still likes her Like, but she loves her new Vespa.

Buying a low mileage, gently used Vespa is the way to go. I paid about 1/2 what I paid for her Like 200 back in 2013.
