Thanks KYMCO
« on: September 11, 2016, 04:51:54 PM »
Noticed this on my speed-o-meter.
Kymco put these red dots at 70, 80 ,90 & 100 MPH - to warn me not to go that fast on my LIKE200i.
I've followed their advice faithfully....and I hope all my LIKE brothers and sisters are doing likewise?!

Anyone doing 90+ on their LIKE, you're going to blow up your dashboard!

Pretty smart of those guys and gals in Kaoshiung to do that simple but graphic device in lieu of a tachometer. Great picture, as always, Stig!

Since I installed my new throttle body I regularly cruise at 70-75 mph. Just what my scoot needed, oh and that jet pack on the top case.

All I noticed was that you had reached 10,000 miles, congratulations.   :)

It is very difficult to ride the Like under 70 mph. I have managed to control myself, solely because the speedometer has the red dots .  Kymco must think it is important to be ride below 70 mph, if they are using red dots.

When I first brought this scooter home my mother-in-law looked at the speedometer and exclaimed to my father-in-law,  "Look Don, his scooter will go 100 miles per hour!"
I told my father-in-law that I've ordered the optional 120 mph speedometer...

The speedo on my 125 only goes up to 140 kms and isn't as colorful as the 200i speedo gauge.

Since a stock Kymco Like won't ever do 70 mph I'll never have to concern myself about the red dots. I like blue better than red any ways.  ;D
