 Changed the rear tire on my Like at 8700 miles. It was the original Kenda tire that came with the scoot. It had no tread left, except for the sides. I probably should have changed it sooner. The new tire is a Michelin City Grips.  The front tire still has life in it, but I will change it soon anyway.

I replaced the original Kenda tires on my Like at 12,000 miles both front and rear with Michelin City Grips which now have over 2,000 miles on them. The Kenda tires gave me great wear, but the ride quality on the City grips are much better.

Shinko tire on my People 150. Slick at 6,000. Changed it. BTW, great thread!

just got new show for my Like 50 last week had 9K on original back rubber and it was WORN I didn't realize how much till put th new tire on and got that lean back in the corners without the slip. Probably should have changed after Tail of The Dragon Ride (I love twisties and leaning in corners. Michelin Power Pure Plus on now and I love it Got My Lean Back. Will probably change front at 10K bout 700 miles to go

I bought the bike (People S200) used with 500 miles, & had the originals replaced right away for City Grips.
The rear still has some life after ~4700 miles of hard riding including freeway.  I expect it'll go ~6k this time, but would have gone quite a bit longer without the massive highway mileage.

Kymco Super 8 150.  I got 10,000 miles out of the last OEM Chen Shin.  I'd prefer a different tire but no one else sells one in the USA that fits (120?80-14) unless I want to put a front tire on the rear.

Aprilia Sport City 250.  This scooter ate rear tires.  About 3500 on the OEM Maxxis.  About 4500 on a couple of Kendas.  2600 on a Dunflop.  I finally mounted a Metzler ME880 Marathon that looked like it would last a long time.

Yamaha Majesty.  OEM tire lasted about 3200 miles.  Michelin City Grip around 3800.  Currently running a Metzler feel free.

My records for rear tires are about 16,000 on a Dunlop 491 tour elite on a Yamaha Venture and 750 miles on a rear Dunlop Sportmax on an SV650.

I run the same make and model of tyres on all of my scoots.
But 2011 Agility RS50.
Michelin Boppers April-October. Michelin City Grip Winters October-April.
 
I got near 12,000 miles on the boppers this year, keeping in mind they have now been on two different scoots. Ive tried Maxxis, Pirelli, Kenda etc etc and no tyre i've used has felt as good to me as the bopper has. Does well through torrential rain, Grips to the tarmac well even when its cold out, Have worn well. Im now fitting a new set of boppers until October.

The City Grip Winters are great for the colder weather we get here in the UK. Plenty of grip to the road, they wear well too, I can usually get 6-7000 miles out of a set before having to change them. I ride through ALL weathers including snow (if my road has been plowed that is, huuugeee hill) so a good winter tyre is important for me.

What I like about Michelins is that they dont cost the earth, They do what they are supposed to do and do it very well and they last a fairly long time. Ill happily try other tyres but its Boppers and City Grip Winters all the way for me.

You only got 3200 out of your Majesty rear tire? When I wrecked mine, I had 3000 miles and it was still in practically new condition.

I put Around 6000 on the rear tire of my Xciting 250. But I don't know how many were already on it when I bought it.

It wasn't completely worn out but I was going on a trip so I replaced it.  It probably had another 500 miles left on it.  I ride pretty aggressively on twisty roads.  That wears out tires more quickly.  On the other hand I still have the OEM front tire but will be replacing it soon.  It has 9100+ miles on it and the sides are pretty scalloped from hard cornering.

I ride all year so I change just before every winter.sometimes if the old tire look good ill reuse it .

90% of my riding was done on highway  at highway speeds of 60-65 mph on theXciting and 60-70mph on the Majesty because I commuted to and from work 100 miles round trip. So I guess that was easy on the tires. When the city grips wore on the Kymco, it was worn flat in the center. The sides had plenty of tread. I imagine the donlops on the Majesty would eventually have shown the same pattern.

Kinda tough to say there. Tires tend to wear more when running at full heat since they're softer.
I wish I could quantify the difference, but I have 5k. mostly highway, roughly on some City Grips on an S200, & I doubt the rear will make 8k, which from what I gather would be a bit low, but within range, for one of those.
