Woody Guthrie was "walking that ribbon of highway"
Roads like this make me think of that lyric when I'm on my scooter.
After a new top-coating they re-opened this road this morning.
Hit McDonald's for coffee and rode around for 3.5 hours. Heated gloves were much appreciated! The LIKE is one smooth mile-eating machine! And, the headlight with the new Philips bulb from the U.K. works pretty darn well on deserted rural highways. Easily projects for 40mph riding in the dark. (which is @ all you want at night with so many mammals wandering about!) It is in the city with so many car and street lights that it is found wanting.
