Front and rear brake pads

Front brake pad replacement:
1) Remove the two bolts holding the caliper onto the fork using a socket wrench.
2) Remove the single pad-retaining bolt using an allen key.
3) Slide the brake caliper off the disc and the pads should fall out.
4) Push the two brake pistons back into the caliper using a clamp or your fingers.
5) Insert the new pads into the caliper and then the pad-retaining bolt to align them.
6) Slide the caliper back onto the disc and then re-tighten the two caliper bolts.

This takes only 5-10 minutes and is the same for most bikes. You may want to grease the sliding parts of the caliper and apply threadlock on the caliper bolts.

Actually, you do not need to remove the front calipers at the front to change the front pads.

Just unscrew the pin, then pull it out, the pads will just drop out.

Reverse it the procedure to place the pads in.
