First time seller
« on: November 20, 2016, 07:40:22 PM »
Fellow on the Burgman forum saw that I had replaced my stock wind screen and contacted me about buying it from me.
I hate trying to box something this big - but he offered to swing into town on his way north for the upcoming holidays and pick it up.
We agreed on $75 (new is @ $525 plus shipping)....think he got a good price. But I'm never going to use it again. (look up "turbulent" in dictionary. It's a picture of this screen)
We met at the cycle/scooter dealer lot just off the interstate. Texted to let me know when to leave home.
Nice folks.
Never sold in person like this before.

Congrats! Does that make you a traveling salesman? Spend it wisely for the coming holidays.

I did a similar sale on eBay years ago for a medium format camera. We meet at a Burger King for the handoff.
