People 50 2T 2008 Headlight Type
« on: June 17, 2010, 09:00:23 PM »
I was looking to replace the headlight on my wifes 2008 People 50 2T with a hyper white one of the same type and wattage. I was hoping to limit the down time and get the replacement bulb before pulling off the plastics.

Does anybody know what type of headlight bulb the scooter takes? I found somewhere that it said it took a H4 HS1 I think but I don't really know if the HS1 is the manufacturers own product code or not.

Thanks,
Grant

I don't know if it helps, but the halogen bulb for the zx50 is BA20D 35/35w.

Yeah, the zx one is a strange one, I cant find them locally, the last one I got was from scooter assassins and is blue in colour, supposed to be brilliant white so look forward to using it.

The first halogen light I put in didnt last very long and when I put the original globe back in I think it was better than the halogen one, will see how this one goes.

Most of them are 4 wire but you would need to know the configuration. I just looked them up on stadium and the people, and the zx have the same part #. Pm me your address, and I will post it out to you tommorow,. (I have 2 extra)

The People 50 takes a Phillips HS1 12V/35W 3-prong headlight bulb. It's also used on some Suzuki quads and such, so you can check with a scooter store (my local one had one) or with a Suzuki dealer. They're a bitch to change, though, wouldn't you know?!
