I should add, I do like the Michelin power pure sc motor scooter tyres a lot, but Im not married to Michelin.
As long as its a hi tech tyre from a good quality known brand, with a reinforced motor scooter tyre carcass and dual tread compounds, a good load index and speed rating like a 62P
Im happy to look at it
oddly when I plug my motor scooter specs in to the michelin web site
http://moto.michelin.com.au/AU/en/homepage.html KYMCO Like 200i
it recommends only the MICHELIN CITY GRIP tyres, if you want the Michelin Power Pure SC Scooter tyres you have to look them up on your own, I wonder why that is?
Ive never used the city grips, but with a lower load index and speed rating maxing out at 120/70 -12 51P for the front tyre of my motor scooter against a load index and speed rating on the power pure sc 120/70 -12 58P on the front
and on the rear tyre the Michelin Power Pure SC Scooter maxing out in my size at 130/70 -12 62P beat the MICHELIN CITY GRIPs at 130/70 -12 56P
I wonder why Michelin are pushing the weaker CITY GRIPs over the stronger Power Pure SC tyres
The diffrence in the tyres technical specifications might not be much, but Im going to give myself every chance I can not to win the wheel chair lottery!
