You get use to it pretty quick but you do feel it at times going over bumps and when turning a corner.  At least it makes the car drivers more aware of you.

I use my V-strom as a company vehicle, so I get paid for the time and mileage, and at tax time, I take standard GSA reimbursement rate as a deduction from my taxes as I own it personally

I also get paid to drive around with my UXV450i but I have that registered in my company name so I deduct actual expenses  instead of mileage, afik, there is no standard rate for UTVs/ATVs

the rate dropped a couple ¢ from last year, and about a nickle fro it's peak 3 - 4 years ago

nearly 20k business miles a year, it becomes a substantial $10k deduction, many of those miles are general office errands and visits to sites that never become jobs, so, while I still get the tax deduction, I don't get to bill a client for the riding time or mileage  >:(
