Need New Variator?

I have had my Downtown 300i for about 2 years now, it is a 2011. It is at a little over 30,000 miles on it and other than issues with the CVT, it has always ran pretty great. I use it as my daily commuter and love it.

Recently my scooter has gone through a couple belts, and my rollers and sliders have been trashed.

Today looking inside the variation, on the ramp there is a noticeable cut or groove on all the ramps. Is this what has been causing my issues? Also, is there anywhere I can order a new variator that wouldn't take a very long time to get to me? I see on on eBay but might not get to me for over a month. I am in Texas, USA. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you disassemble the enitre front variator section and take photos? There might be something worn out in there that's causing it to spin around and cut grooves into the ramp plate.

I will try to post more pictures in a bit when I can. I have the whole variator sitting on the floor by my bed.

How do I know if I need SK60AH or SK60AD parts?

So I figured out that the groves that are cut into it come from the face plate covering the rollers. The 4 sliders/spacers wore out and broke so it was metal on metal in there.

Also, do we need to use different slide/spacers when using Dr. Pulley Sliders as opposed to normal rollers?

when you order parts look for the number with LEA7 after the it ,.  that matches the # on the scooter,.   both parts will fit but LEA 7 IS BETTER,   I buy my parts from     motorsportswarehouse.com      and     denis kirk.com    which ever is cheaper,.

So I ordered a new part, but apparently it can only come in the LGE5 and not LEA7. Would the LGE5 Variator work fine in my scooter?

What I've found helpful on finding the correct parts is using the consumer parts site on Kymcousa.com.
Go tot the site, click on "motorparts on line", then "advance search" then enter your VIN and it will take you to the exact partsfiche for your vehicle. You cant order the part but you can get any part number you need to supply to a kymco dealer. It's really cool
