First ride on scooter to Tim H's this year, and also first ride on my new Michelin Power Pure in very greasy conditions.
I had no 'moments' with the new tire; riding on city streets cornering across a vast number of painted road strips and wet steel plates. But then I'm a cautious rider, and not a center-stand scraper even on a sunny day.
I'm looking for more center wear and less shoulder wear this time around, which is sometimes a sign of under inflation or over loading. So, after some experimenting - I'm carrying a couple more PSI in this tire than I did in the City Grip rear tire, yet the ride feels as though the tire is as supple as was the City Grip on 3 lbs less.
Will probably replace the front City Grip (dated Sept. 2012) with a new P. Pure this year. Still good tread and no cracking. (probably from being garaged all its life)
No one else got the email about today's Scooter Meet at Tim Horton's ?
