hieumait, how much you weigh?, your S9 LC is not running well.  Please clarify, are you saying you are turning 10,000 rpms and only going 20mph?

rpms shoul actually be less going uphill but the best thing for sustained uphill speed is performance variator with heavier weights and stiffer rear toqque spring.

AUTO BYSTARTER SET screws broken off try to drilled then out end up fck the carb lol, replace complet CARBURETOR ASSY from http://www.kymcopartsmonster.com....strange flat seem be fine ... up hill struggle, should I put original roller weight (8gram) instead of 3gram & 6 gram stack?

OK, I understand carb, you can bypass auto bystarter if you want, but will have to manually choke carb to start.

Why did you install 3gr and 6gr rollers?  How did it run with stock 8gr?  At your weight 125#, probably don't need really light weight rollers to get acceleration.  When rollers are too light, trad-off is often less top speed.  Engine peak torque is where you get max acceleration, speed up hill, with stock exhaust pipe peak torque is approx 7000 revs, less or more revs, engine is not working at maximum.  Good luck...

I got the moped free, and it come 3gr & 6gr roller weight on it, I believe it have been modify, it has Tecnigas exhaust on it, soo should put back 8gr roller weight?, how does it effect speed and torque while on flat road vs uphill, thank

Go with the stock weights. It may "feel" like it accelerates better with lighter weights but all likelihood it is not going to outperform the stock weights. In my experience, the Kymco engineers knew what they were doing when they designed these machines! The lighter weights do not allow your engine to get into its torque band because the rpms are too high.

shouldn't lighter weights allow variator to pop out sooner but not as far so faster to a certain rpm range but lower rpms in general heavier weights slower on get go but further travel and higher top speed hence higher rpms?

unless maybe his rear puller is stock open and not closing or clutch slipping?

Hey Pace! I have found that heavier weights than stock do affect acceleration and even affect top end because of the extra inertia required to turn them decreases rpm. Stock weights are not "heavy." They are usually just right. I have done tests of different weights and timed the real speed over distance. The lighter weights did give a PERCEPTION of faster acceleration, but the data just did not prove that out. I was not accelerating faster, it just sounded like it. :)

I've never noticed less acceleration that stock with heavier weights the like had 8.5g stock when I wrnt to the Malossi Multivar they came with 9G rollers and I definitely noticed a differance witht hem in top speed then went to 6gr and back to 8gr Dr Pulley sliders once had BBK and upgear kit on to keep it around 9600 rpm tops which on my LIke 50 was 65mph
