And it's not folded like a calzone, bonus. You can't wait to see it on the bike I'm sure.

You haven't opened it yet. There's probably a horses head inside or something

Ok, so I open the box and oh my gosh, what a handsome windscreen. It's smoke in color and very thick. The quality appears very high and will be such a nice upgrade to the bike.

So, I unpacked it and took it outside and layed out all the parts and there's lots of them. The directions are in Spanish and quite minimal but there is an illustration with an exploded view of the parts that I'm sure I can figure out. I was thinking that maybe the hardware for my big windscreen might work but no, it must be removed  by dis-assembling the mirrors and turn signals to remove the old one. Well it was already about 6pm and dusk was upon me as I was doing this outside and realized this was not going to be a 30 min. project. I did however remove the old windscreen but not the mirrors yet and old hardware. Looks like I might need a couple of hours to do like this weekend. I did however get a photo of it outside the box.

You guys are too funny and are a joy to share with here on the forum. When I sold my PS200 about a year ago, I wondered if I was going to hang around since I was now without a Kymco and back to riding my SW? I realized that you're a multi-scooter family as many ride other brands too and that you're not an exclusive Kymco club. But more, you're a friendly, fun and helpful bunch that draws me back to want to be here and share. As a result of your influence I also bought another Kymco, my present BW that I purchased during the holiday. I really enjoy being here with you guys.

We'll....I started taking off the mirrors and turn signals as the old windshield brackets were sandwiched in the bolt up assemblies and geez were those bolts hard to get out. One got stripped (not the head) but where it tightens into a nut underneath all that plastic up on the handle bars. I started taking all the screws out to disassemble/remove the top plastic cover over the speedo to get to the problem area to remove the lower bolt at the turn signal. One of the screws on the plastic won't let go as I suspect the factory locktite is working real good. Anyway needed an excuse to purchase a cordless impact drill. So, long story short; windshield is not installed yet but soon.

try a 18 or 20 volt impack drill,  for small bolts and a 5 or 7 volt drill for the screws,.

Depending on the application I've had luck with getting bolts out by tightening a little then backing out. Usually frees the locktite.
