BMW is releasing a 350lb, 313cc, $4750.00 intro bike to the USA. Superb BMW build quality from their TVS partner in India. There are some nice 300 naked bikes to shop from these days.

And Honda introducing Rider Assist, self-balancing technology at stop & low speeds.

A lot of info online.
(As I  age I  am finding the idea of handling a nearly 500lb scooter long into my future....less attractive.)

I guess it's all in what you're used too. Coming from a#900 pound Goldwing the 500 pound Maxiscooters are flyweights in comparison to me. Some older Goldwing owners are moving down to the big Maxiscooters as they're easier to balance and manuver than the larger touring bikes. A Goldwing forum I'm still a member of still has lots of seniors in their seventies muscling around the big bikes though. For now, and I'm 67, my Honda Silverwing is a very easy bike to ride and manage as it will no doubt serve me the rest of my days with my Kymco.

Oh, what a classic! Looks good but what a DOG! Same weight as an RS500 with half the power. Half of the 500 cc engine. These did rather well in some trials contests in the 60's, however. Nice job, Hypo!
