SOLVED carb - pilot screw missing?
« on: April 17, 2017, 11:26:54 PM »
guys, look at the pic. where is it??? did it fall out? how does this scooter even go? would this mean that it runs super rich? I can't get it above 52mph, would that explain it?

If the carb adjustment screw was missing, the scooter would be running super lean (not good) and would likely have trouble maintaining an idle. Do you see a screw on the side  of your carb that appears to be brass and has a slot in it for a screw driver? Here is a link to a post with a good photo to give you an idea of the screw location. If you are missing it, it needs to be replaced before the scooter is run again.
