VIVO....you still afloat ??
« on: May 02, 2017, 11:03:14 AM »
This man, Vivo, is a hero member here in every sense of the word.
Vivo......just take one hand off the bars & give us a thumbs-up if things are still  "OK -- your end?"
Too many typhoons pass over his country each year. And too many guys toting pistols.
Prayers given....

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Was he the only contributor from the Philippines? He sure sent some nice pictures and good advice. Yes, prayers.

I also echo those sentiments. I miss Vivo, and fondly remember him from my early days on the forum. He's one of the reasons I got into this site so much. Hope all is well with him.

One of my first questions on here was answered by Vivo.
I asked if the LIKE200i would handle 365 work commuting - often in downpours.
He replied that his Kymco scooter sat out, was his work commuting vehicle.....never let him down ....in his country that averages 22 typhoons a year.
His only caution was to get rid of the Kenda tires soonest....due to their lousy wet grip.
I purchased the scooter and at about 400 miles put on Michelin City Grips......commuting the next 3 yrs to work.
