3500 wheel star moving

Hi, all my super 9 lc, wheels star moving around 3500 rpm, is my clutch slipping or clutch spring too stiff, I took cvt cover off and didnt see any dust, shoes is glaze surface, what r u guy suggest, thank

Sounds like the springs are too stiff, it they are not the originals. Also check for wear on the clutch pads.

If the clutch springs are not the originals, I would replace them.

I just picked up a 2006 LC, took me almost 5 hours to drive it home!

On mine, the clutch doesn't grab until about the engine is at 5000 rpm, and I'm pretty much redlining it at takeoff. Low speed manoeuvres are are tricky, but the top end is all there and the speedo needle can go past 80 km/h :o. I'm fairly certain some tuning has been done by the previous owner, as it has some kind of Technigas exhaust installed. The clutch springs might be way too stiff. Before I go order stuff, does anyone know if this clutch is compatible with GY6/139QMB springs?
