If it's just through a tread corner. Pull it. Shouldn't be a big deal, & if it is the tire was dead anyway.
Just pulled a sharp rock that had dug into a tread block out the other day. Didn't think twice.
If it's not just just through the tread then odds are it has killed the tire.
Even those who believe a tire can be patched or used after a puncture will only do it in a limited area of the tire in the middle of the tread.

Far as "Slime" and similar goes, I am a fan of Ride-On. I've used it with good success even over more than a couple miles with a small hole.
Caveat emptor, RTFM, carpe diem, carpe carp, & don't try this at home kids. (aka if it don't work it ain't my fault, & I told ya so)
