Looks interesting.
A little less displacement 276/299 and a few less ponies 23/29 than the DT300 also.
Also 2 valve and a little porky. Also looks like the People 300i is on its way out. Also notice the DT350 was a "thud".
ABS front only ?

Thanks AMAC for that post/review...
Seemed too good to be true - cool idea of Kymco to get into that price range with a highway capable 250-300 class scooter. Not an interstate cruiser maybe - but will enable some cross town runs on the super slab. And the salesmen will no longer be fibbing when they mention "highway capable" when standing next to a scooter.
The SYM is out there, but Kymco has a much better factory/dealer back-up.
They mention the engine has 4 valves, not two, if I read it correctly.
I made a guess that the new 150 LIKE would have more speed and poop than the old 163cc version - seems Kymco spent a few more $ on the engine and we'll get more grunt.
I kinda think of my under-stressed 163cc LIKE engine to be a bit like a tractor. Has some power to move a quarter ton of me & scooter with some surprise - but we're not going to win any races in the 125-150 class. I don't race many scooters - so I like my LIKE.
