you'll have to downsize.
is it the 170i or the blur?
or a 150?
inquiring minds want to know!
I'm not ready for a new scoot just yet, so I'm not sure what it will be... I just know what it won't be, and that would be any Kymco.

Jprestonian,

Thanks for the head's up. I think I will go ahead and cancel my order on the GT300i and get my deposit money back. Thanks.

Not sure I would put much stock in one isolated incident. I know of dealers that have a good relationship with Kymco and are happy with thier dealings with them.

The ONE disadvantage over the other Peoples!  :-\  I still think it's my next scoot.  Too bad i'll have to add a more substantial windscreen and a huge topbox.  More $$$.  Here's hoping my scoot lasts until the GTi 300 is available used!

I would never buy it because of this. It is pure stupidity. There is no excuse.

What was Kymco thinking?  A scooter with little to no room under the seat.  I would second the opinion that I would not buy it just because of that.

Why wouldn't you buy another Kymco?

I don't like the way they treat their dealers, or their customers. The only company whose dealings I have been impressed with is Genuine Scooters, Chicago. Hopefully, they'll decide to make a bit larger scoot in the near future. I'm leaning towards them.

I actually love the looks of it -- the first time I can say that about a People model!  Still, not buying another Kymco.

I like the way it looks - except for the color choices of black, gold or grey.  My preference would be white or red, with blue, yellow or green being ok.  I just want to be more visible.

Yeah. They teased us with photos of the white one for a year... and then don't bring it into the U.S.  W.T.F.?

Sounds more like sour grapes with your dealer losing their Kymco franchise. I don't see that dealer listed on Kymco's dealer locator any more.

I had to edit out an extra o in losing. Just old and in too big of a hurry. ::)

Very much so, yes. But you should see if your dealer has ever been reimbursed for warranty service from KymcoUSA. Or find out if it took six months for KymcoUSA to replace an obviously defective bike for your dealer's customer. You might be surprised.

And, it's "losing," btw.
