My new scoot was towed home on a big trailer on I-70 the other day.
I-70 is posted at 70mph.
The driver was supposed to be following me, but his gps kicked in with my home address....and his big diesel Ram lit out over the horizon towing my 155cc scooter.
I know he had that little Italian doing the best part of 85mph (it was nearing his lunch time back at the shop).
I'm sure that adventure had scared the heebee jeebies out of both of us. While waxing it under a tree I promised never to WOT it, and to only use the finest virgin olive oil in it.
According to Piaggio - I am lucky I was able to bring home this red "S" model Liberty. They state that the "S" is designed for the younger rider.....while I was supposed to be interested in riding the white regular Liberty - designed for older riders. No comment....
