Engine rpms going uphill
« on: September 30, 2017, 02:50:31 AM »
I just picked up an 04 Venox 250 tonight. Was riding it around our housing development and when going uphill at low rpm in 2nd gear it sounded almost like the clutch was slipping. That said, it doesn’t do it when I give it gas going uphill. I know my older Suzuki GSXR’s would “skip” in 2nd and 3rd gear but it was a transmission problem with them.  Any idea Since?

Figured this out. Turns out the “new clutch” is slipping. Guess it’s time for a new clutch
