OpinionsRecommendations for 50cc

Hello all, newguy here, first post.
Trying to "do my homework" - considering buying a new 50cc.
I'm an old guy (65), not a mechanic, driving 6 miles to work one way daily on (mostly) flat ground with max 35mph speed limit. One long (1/4 mile) grade en route.
I have a Kymco distributor about 5 miles from my home.
I need something capable of hauling me (5'-10", 250lb) at traffic speed.
Which would be better, the Agility50 or the Super8 50X, and why?

I don't have a 50cc kymco but I do have a 50cc Yamaha Vino. I love it for going to the store but it maxes out at 38 mph and it takes a while to get to that speed...on the flat...and I weigh 180. I think you would be a lot happier, and safer, with at least 125 cc.

Any rebuttals?

I agree with stuo about the 125 over the 50 unless you don't want to have to get a motorcycle endorsement. The two scooters you noted are very similar bikes except that the Super 8 X is fitted with dual-purpose tires. If you want to be able to ride on gravel or dirt trails it might be a better choice. The two use essentially the same engine.

I was actually going to argue that one was a 2 stroke and the other a 4 stroke until I found out that the Agility was available in either 2 or 4 stroke versions.  I have only seen the 4 stroke version at our local dealers shop.
