..if the spring mechanism is still in place, inside the cvt cover, it's not too bad...

..if the torsion spring had been removed, then you're in for a pain in the ass....

with this bendix thing is it just a case of pushin it back towards the starter motor or more difficult?

...should be about as easy as that...

..once you remove your cvt cover...

..might have to twist it a bit to get it to line up...

..it's a loose fitting device anyway, when the cover is off...

...so, you havent been able to start your scoot??

..no starter, and no kick-start...

..that might be a good thing, if the bendix is out of place...

..no, i mean the good thing is that you havent started it...

..if the bendix was out of place, and you started you scoot via kick-start, your belt might have suffered some damage...

..well, that's wat the bendix does, it extends to the drive face when the starter motor spins it...

..if the starter motor's output shaft isn't long enough, it will not spin the bendix..

..you can easily see this by removing the cvt cover, and taking a look at it...

..should be able to see the end of the motor's output shaft where it's teeth mesh with the teeth of the bendix...

..it should spin clockwise...i'm not sure how to reverse the motor's polarity...hhmmm...

..but if it is spinning the wrong direction, the bendix will not extend...
