Looking good.  How long does the battery last for before recharging?
It's going to be 106 degrees here today so I will have all my mesh gear on.

106F is waaaaaay beyond my comfort level. And if it's that warm, then it goes without saying that loads of dangerous beasties will be enjoying the heat too. No thanks

In answer to your question Paul

High setting = 60C for 120 minutes
Medium Setting = 50c for 180 minutes
Low setting = 40c for 240 minutes

I'm comfortable with the medium setting between 1 and 5 degrees (the lowest I'll ride in) and 3 hours is well in excess of my other bodily extremities freezing and dropping off!

The only downside is that they are a bit bulky, but very comfortable. The temperature is easily adjusted from the push buttons on the outside of the glove and the batteries take about 6 hours to charge.

That's fahrenheit,  41 degrees in celsius.  I used fahrenheit due to it being mainly US members here.  Next few days wont be as hot and will be great for riding but it has been a very mild summer so far.  Last year was much hotter with plenty of 40+ degree days.

That is a lot better lasting times than I thought it would be.  Long distance tourers would probably have a spare set of batteries.

Cold weather, distance tourers often use bike battery powered systems  to heat gloves and jackets, etc.
Yes, my battery heated liners are bulky....but I  have never had rides cut short due to cold fingers since purchasing them.

Agreed Stig.

My neighbour has heated grips powered by his bike (he swears they well) but I've always tried to keep as much load off the bikes electrical system as possible.
