Kymco Diagnostic Tool.

Hello guys. Yesterday I decided to plug my diagnostic tool to clear a engine alarm fault which worked, however in the process, I mistakingly hit the CO Adjust function.
After this, my GTI 300 keeps doing some funky things on the temperature gauge. Please see link to video.
While I am riding, the temperature gauge will drop to 1 bar as opposed to 2 bar on the norm. At times it will increase to 3 bar for a quick 2 seconds and drop back to normal 2 bar. Yes the fan kicks in and working normal.
I'm stomped. Can anyone help me out?

I never got ANYTHING TO HAPPEN on co adjust! Howja do dat?

I just went to that mode and hit ENTER, kept pressing ENTER and it ranged from -4 to +4.
So I put it back to 0 and my temperature meter has a mind of her own. I wonder if I corrupted the ECU? Anyway the bike runs fine, just a little scared of the temperature (1 bar) at times and 3 bars at times for a brief 5 seconds.

Don't think you scrambled the ECU. You might try a reset by disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes or more. Your temp gauge is independent of the ECU. It is a function of the temp sensor on the engine and the brain in the instrument cluster. The temp sensor is a variable resistance proportional to the coolant temp. You probably have a bad contact either at the sensor or at the panel connector. Getcha a tube of silicone dielectric grease (auto parts store), unplug each connector, goober up each receptacle and plug back in. That should get rid of the indication problem. Replace the sensor if it does not.

When it drops down to one bar, are you coasting downhill and off the throttle?
When it goes to three bars briefly, are you in traffic?
