Curious. ....did you trial fit various helmets - then settle on this model Bell - before ordering it from a supplier?

I have always had full face helmets, and both times I had to "use" it it was hit and scratched on the chin.

Oh yeah, I spent a couple of days trying on helmets at different places... finally landed on the Bell Qualifier at my local Cycle Gear... just a combination of comfort, visibility and the ability to wear my glasses under it. (Had a guy at one place suggest I switch to contacts to make his helmet work.  )
The one I tried was XL, but I knew if I was going to wear it for more than a minute, I would have to order an XXL.

The final bullet was, "after all, it's just a scooter! "
I gave my $$ elsewhere.
