Enviromoto power packs
« on: July 19, 2010, 04:03:34 PM »
Hi everybody, I'm new to scooters, new to the agility 50.  I've looked over the posts here and was wondering if anybody has any experience with the Enviromoto power packs.  Do they fit on the agility 50? I've heard yes and no.  Anybody who has experience with them please let me know.  Thanks guys, and this is a cool forum.  I look forward to it.

Thanks man, seems like there is a lot of great info out there.  My main concern is the engine.  I've heard that it is a genuine gy6 and I've heard that it isn't.

This is as close as you can get to it,kymco used to manufacture for honda, they have done some of there own R and D for the people's line i believe but why change the gy6 been working for ever. It's like the origanal clone everyone else copies Ha!I don't have your model but know quite a bit about most.I'm real big on the people line up great little motor,I can't tell you for sure if all parts will fit,but i think your pretty safe,It's kinda dead here tonight some one will know, going to be expermint with a gy6 drive face real soon myself know one knows if it will fit the people but word slinger had some luck with his aftermarket a50 drive face on the people,When he show up he should be able to fill ya in,start reading some of the threads you'll learn something, sometimes it's even helpfull  ;D

...so far as i can tell, every cvt part is interchangeable between the A50 and the people 50...I have both scoots..

..if you run a taller drive face, then you're going to have to remove the starter bendix, as the belt is likely to rub against it..mine did..

..what are the enviromoto's power-pack supposed to fit?

I got a response from Jeremy Hall over at enviromoto about my a50 and it says:

"The big bore kits will fit however the carbs are a little different along with a different belt size. Everything else is pretty much the same only better quality from Kymco. .

Yes my 1, 3, and 4 powerpack kits will work on your Kymco"

Thanks for your input guys.  I'll certainly pour over the previous posts to try and catch up and put in my 2 cents when I think i can help.

I have learned best thing to do is just cut the cdi box. and do the variator boss and maybe rollers.
anything else is just a waste of of time and money. if you want fast and more power a bigger bike all around.you can only do so much to a 50 with out other things wearing out on the scoot. I do know that you can put a 125 in the 50 frame seen it done.

Ha! don't tempt me!(125) It is true for the most part I would add setting the squish to that list. Not so much a top end improvement but the throttle responce all the way through is awsome and i believe it makes the motor perform with less stress when carb is tuned properly. It's about a $20 mod if you do the removel and install yourself.

..hmm..'fraid i'd have to disagree with y' on that blue...

..been running 50+mph top speeds and super quick take-off with my 2008 a50 for over a year...

..got damned near 50,000 kms on old girl, and she runs as well now as she ever has....
