My tires say: Cheng Shin.

Never heard of 'em before. They don't look bad, but they are plain, certainly not off-road or all-terrain or anything fancy. I'm always jealous when I see pics of the nicer ones.

My stock tires got bad and I was thinking of kendas because I ride all year and because of the streets here a lot of gravel on the corners from construction and they are good in the mud and on wet roads
to me its just a safty thing have tires that well grip the road.and go threw anything.

Oh that sounds like exactly what I need, blue. We have a lot of construction here, too, and a bunch of loose gravel. One spot I passed through today the road was almost white from all of the dust and there was gravel everywhere. I decided I would just hang on for the ride and try not to overreact if the tires didn't like it. lol. Did you get yours local or order them online?

The Cheng Shin are the stock tires.

I'm still using them, but other forum members have said that there are much better tires out there.  Might be something I'll have to think about with winter approaching.

Yeah, oswaldters, that's what I'm thinking too. I dunno if my budget will have room for it this winter, but it would probably be a good idea if you'll be riding year round.

I think I would go with the motorcycle superstore since they'll ship the tires to the service center.

They have a good selection and their prices seem competitive.

I just hate to have to transport the sccot to the shop.  I've done all my own work to this point but tires are beyond my ability.

Wow, that's cool, oswaldters. I didn't know they would ship them like that. I don't know how the dealer handles tires. Probably need an appointment for everything. But a couple of the local tire shops will just change out the tires on your car while you wait, without an appointment. Could have them done in like 15 or 20 minutes, anytime you had the time to ride over there, if your old tires were still usable enough to get you there. That would be nice.

wow ts1 theam look good also. I got mine from a dealer close to home because the coast of theam to be set to me oline is like buying 2 tires so a dealer can get theam cheaper because they all ready have a big order going threw so they get a price cut. check with your local scoot dealer befor ordering on line.

I've been looking at those as well.

Looks like they would handle the rain nicely - my key consideration.

..they handle awesomely in the rain...i ride rain or shine..

..i have no choice in the matter if i wanna get to work every day...

..these tires have hauled me through downpours with confidence...

..keep in mind, NO tire is going to stick to a water/oil patch, so always ride with caution on newly wet roads...
