BLUE Moon riding
« on: March 31, 2018, 05:57:29 PM »
Off riding this frosty morning for a pre-sunrise start to catch the Blue Moon.
And a nice sunrise.

FROSTY....

Then into my coffee village and scored my primo parking spot in front of my sidewalk table. (BTW. I have thanked the lady shop owner who placed these chairs and table in front of her shop. She was delighted to be thanked - and happy to hear that my family and I have used them for years. On cold winter mornings I get the full sun, and her building blocks any winds. in the summer we're shaded by the big sycamore.)

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Great shots, Stig, but looks rather chilly. You are a brave man, sir, and a credit to the scootering community.

Nah, when I get old I'll sleep in.
I retired but still have my alarm set for 5:30 AM, 7 days a week.
I grumble about all the gear I have to put on when it's cold - but once I'm out there on those smooth, nearly deserted,  county roads I know it was worth it!

As a teenager I used to ride my Honda to work in Mass. on winter days. Dress slacks, button down shirt, heavy sweater and rubberized rain pants and jacket from the Army/Navy store. Keep the wind out - you can do it.
