Tend to agree with the 2nd reviewer. For that kind of $ I'd go with  the Yamaha. Would have better resale value as well.
But using Brembo btakes is impressive - and running on the best tires ever on a Kymco, Metzeler !!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Power 53 bhp@7500rpm
Torque 41 ftlb @5500rpm
Kerb weight 226kg
~44 mpg U.S. (based off UK article 53mpg U.K.)
MSRP £8,879

vs. current Burgman 650
Max Power   40 kW / 55 hp @ 7000 rpm
Max Torque   62 Nm / 6.3 kgf-m / 45.7 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm
~238 kg
~55mpg U.S. (real world off fuelly)
MSRP: £9,199

Notably better MPG, but probably more comparable if you keep the burger in sport mode & let the Kymco break in.  My (notably heavier) k7 B650 gets ~45-55 summer riding.  Low 40's winter.
Power's not insanely off.
MPG.  That's part of what you pay for when you buy the fancy eCVT.

Overall.  Might well be a market for it depending on the actual selling price, but for an extra £300 ya get a B650 @MSRP.
