Good old days before dealer closed
« on: April 08, 2018, 04:42:54 PM »

Came this close to buying the BV350 seen here. Dealer let me test ride it (!) and marked it down to same price as the Honda Forza offered, & discounted, by another dealer.
Ultimately went with my decades long love of Hondas.

Did come back here and buy my new Piaggio Liberty150i - last summer. Dealer closed a few weeks ago.

:'( As much as I distrust dealers and dealer techs I am really sorry to see any close.

I like pic #3...looks like a service dept in a car dealership...actually that motorcycle dealership looks like it's in an old car dealership.  Yeah, bummer when a local dealer closes.

When I was dropping off the LIKE wheel and Michelin for mounting, and rear fork and new bearing for pressing - I asked about the Victory situation. Service fellow said the owner was buying up all the Victory's he could get , in order to become an even bigger center for that now discontinued brand.

Wasn't long after that that the tornado struck the shop and took out that front showroom only. Damaged a lot of those big bikes.

It was a sad conversation when I called to confirm the information they'd mailed out to all their customers.
All those guys now looking for jobs.
