Well I got the side cover off tonite and checked out the insides, there does not appear to be a restrictor on the variator, unless I dont know what I am looking for. (It pretty much looks like everyother variator I have saw, same as a 4 stroke)

The rollers have flat spots, so I will be putting a fresh set of 7g rollers in soon. The belt is in good shape. And I still cant figure out the CDI unit if it has a restriction or not.

If the (boss) doesn't  have any grooves or any thing but smooth and  level throught the ver. it should be derestricted, sometimes a washer on the back side can be your restricTion.None of that, then you should be good. New rollers will help,I personaly replace the belt when in there sometimes the wear is not noticable, the belt may be streached.  Don't hurt to have a spare and you are sure these are not any of  your continuing problems if they still exist.

The BOSS has no grooves or washer on it. its smooth.

As for the belt I was gonna go ahead and get one too, that way I dont have to take it apart again anytime soon.

Let me know when you get that CDI figured out.

I dont have a digital camera at the moment, besides I think I got the CDI restriction figured out..... Now my next problem is finding a performance exhaust system. The local dealer has no clue were to get one either, hows come everyone else can seem to mod these scoots, but I cannot even find a website to buy parts?

Also one other question, I have the chance to pick up a performance 99mm variator from a store, will I need the 18mm or the 21mm model? And I think that they are talking about the diameter of the center hole of the variator.

Try the new link it's on the page you need ,it's a little hard to navigate. at the bottem is a setting for language. If nothing else look at the pipe you want and google it for a local shop.
