Pretty Irish Scooters!
« on: April 23, 2018, 08:29:48 PM »
Who knew? NECO Irish scooters.
Mostly 50cc classic styles, but a couple zoomy 125's modern style.

My favorite color!! {funny - for me, beauty can be a lot more than skin deep in my rides. I can love a pretty Chinese scooter, and not ever get fond of a new Japanese built Burgman 400.**}

It would be fun to have one or two of these and tinker to keep them running.....not that some Chinese scooters can't be pretty reliable transport.
I spoke with several owners of Chinese scooters in Florida....and some had put a good many miles on them, even if the salt air was tough on them.

**But pretty and well made like a Honda works best!

NECO's just another badge-engineered brand here in the UK and Ireland, but they do have particularly good looking models!

The models are from Tianda (Jianshe subsidary), Lonjia and Znen at first glance. All excellent manufacturers in their own right. Perhaps not Znen so much!

Some of their bikes look really good!
Rides;

Suzuki GW250 Inazuma (2016)
Honda C70C (red, 1983)
