Handlebar grips

Hello,

i want to change handle bar grips. On right side is need to unplug speed wire.  Can somebody know how to open this on picture? It will be enough  for changing right grip?



I want put new original Kymco grips.

Yes. Two phillip head screws at the bottom.

Are you removing the throttle tube or changing the grip?

If you're only changing the grip, you don't need to remove the throttle tube as well :)

I want to replace only grip but original grip is with tube.

Is it possible remove only grip without tube? without destroying grip.

The grip, the rubbery part, is securely glued to a plastic tube with some kinda atomic force glue. There is a post on here somewhere with pictures of the huge steps one of our rider-owner-pioneer posters had to go through to try and remove the rubber part.

I tried to remove the grips from the tube. It is impossible. Ended up buying an aftermarket quick turn throttle tube with Spider grips.

I just cut the old grips off... so no :(
