Anyway, what GLV55 said. Not that I can analyze musical chords, but it would distract me too. I like the silence, and then adding music later if I’m doing a motovlog.

Hey, Wolf! Good to hear from you! Me, three. I have spent time and moolah trying two-way helmet radios, "noise-cacelling mikes"(yeah, right!) and different earphones, buds, whatever 'til I am sick of it! I even considered a neat little radio that Mac had on his DT and finally awakened to I rather ride than trying to get something to work in a noisy helmet. I don't like rap 'music' and certainly do not want to be forced to listen to it. More over, I don't want to listen to ANY music from anyone's vehicle: it is a distraction. I am saving up for a quieter helmet!

I've learned a little too late to save it all - but ear plugs are now as important as gloves & helmet when I ride.
The cheap foam ones equal any pricey helmet for quietness.


They don't make you deaf to all noises - but they prevent the damage that wind and engine cause.

I still like using my IPOD and Beats wireless. They block out a lot of the wind noise, but don't completely blank out all the ambient sound. Its nice to have some music to cruise with on longer trips.
