Handlebar risers
« on: May 13, 2018, 12:00:29 AM »
Hi, anyone installed some handlebar risers? If so what size and height, my seat mo didn't work out well, seat is now unusable, so I just ordered a new seat today. I was trying to create some legroom, so now I'm wanting to trying some up and back risers. I haven't been able to enjoy or ride the scoot because the seating position is horrible for me, and can't seem to sell it either. I finally had a buyer today after listing my scooter last March, he test drove it today and said it's too cramped. So risers anyone, and if so which ones? Thanks, I have to try this and keep the scoot, otherwise, it will sit in garage for another year or until I can get it sold.

Your handlebars are welded in position. They are not like a real motorcycle. The only thing you can remotely modify is the seat which REALLY NEEDS IT!

Thanks, I've tried 2 different mods to the seat, oh well, I'll keep it posted for sale, and hope it fit someone or in a month or 2 waste more money modding the seat. I'll try a different shop.

Yes, there was a guy here named ' Ole two wheels' that did that and posted pictures. It was either 'Ole' or 'old' and his real name was Mac. He made the foot peg arrangement himself.

Thanks, I saw some of his pics, I think I will try footpegs instead of waisting more money on the seat

Dark7, Mac had a bad accident last year and has been laid up. Have not seen any posts from him in over a year.
