Picked this scoot up two weeks ago after retiring my 07 YBR125 from commuting duties, it was getting a bit tired and needed too much work for something that was just for commuting on. Went on eBay and found this 2011 Agility City 125 for £395 with a decent amount of MOT left on it. It had been part exchanged by its previous owner against another bike and the shop was selling this off sold as seen.

For commuting it will do the job perfectly. It has 48,000KM on the clock so it isn't perfect but it rides well.

Im not going to do anything crazy to it, mainly tidy it up and keep it going.

First thing ill do is service it and change all of the bulbs for LED bulbs, fit my top box, a pressed number plate and do a paint correction/polish/wax on it.

Ill update the thread as I go along.

Ok for commuting up to about 80km/h. Very agile in the city.
Easy scoot to maintain. Mine has 54000km.
What shape is it in? Looks like the front has been changed.

Speed isn't important to me, I work on sites where all of the roads to them are 30-40mph at most anyway. It hauls me and all of my gear just fine. I've not worked on it yet but if its anything like my old Agility RS50 to maintain, Ill be happy.

Yep the front has been changed after a theft attempt, the thieves ripped the old panel off apparently so the black panel was put on from another bike. It's not something that bothers me, I dont think it looks too bad. Condition wise, Its not perfect but its not bad. The centerstand has a rust issue that I need to fix, It has a crack in the left hand rear panel, but the panel is secure and you can only see it if you look closely. It has the odd scratch here and there but nothing major. Theres a few holes in the leg shields where fog lights were fitted but Ill be fitting a strobe kit for work and those holes will be re-used. other than that, its pretty good. Just needs a deep clean.

Everything works, Everything is secure and it looks somewhat respectable. for £395, theres alot worse out there.

Ill probably upload more detailed pictures to my instagram during the week and figure out how to get the pictures to show on here properly.

Hi bud,

I did similar commuting for years on a 110 Suzuki scooter and now a Like 200i, coming from small bikes (SR250, CG125) before that. I find scooters to be the better hacks; cheaper transmission compared to belt and sprockets, a little more rot protection due to the fairings and generally drier feet.

I've still not done anything to it, I've been too busy with work.
I've done close to 1,250KM on it since I bought it.
Im planning on servicing it at the beginning of next month and ordering the bulbs + plate as soon as I get paid.

Its been doing good, I got it out on the dual carriageway and got up to 55mph before I had to back off the throttle which surprised me.

Standard rollers

I use 10w40 semi synthetic and it's ok. Recommend oil viscosity is 5w40.

Thanks, Ill get the rollers on order now I know what weight they should be.

I did google it but all I could find were front pads for the standard agility 125, Im assuming the pads are different for the agility city. Ill have to run down to the nearest kymco specialist I think, they should know/have the pads in stock.

I checked a bit on eBay and found this. You can use it as a cross reference for other manufacturers.
The 125 and 150ccm engines should have the same brakes. I know the 200ccm model had a different rear brake.

Brake pads are now on order.

Got a little work done today, Got my camera mount fitted to the screen. Just drilled straight through and bolted it up. I tried to use an adhesive pad but it fell off after a few minutes of riding, itll never come off this way. Also started to mount my strobe lights, Theyre only on temporarily at the moment. I need to go back and hide all of the wiring + use bolts to mount them instead of the temp screws.

The small windscreen that you attached your camera mount is attached to the fairing by 4 plastic pop rivetes. Hope it will be strong enough to support your camera.

Im a mobile patrol security officer, We have a contract that is 50 sites under 1 client who has specifically requested that when the sites are visited, we drive/ride around with amber strobes on. Not just because some of them are busy sites with lots of foot traffic but as a visual deterrent to trespassers/would be thieves. I choose not to drive one of our companies patrol cars (I just don't like driving) so I have to have them fitted to my personal vehicles that I use for work.
