Hello from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
« on: May 24, 2018, 03:00:56 PM »
Hello eh!

I'm new here and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a 60 yr old moto sport gear head that's been riding for 48 years. I first started riding my brother's Rabbit 90 (import from France, I believe) up and down our gravel back lane. I've since graduated to all kinds of bikes except crotch rockets. I currently have 3 bikes. A C3 Yamaha 50cc, A Kymco Downtown 300i and a Suzuki V-Strom 650.

My wife had bought the 300i 6 years ago and parked it 3 years back, with only 2500 kms on the odometer. I recently dusted it off, installed a new battery and drained/rinsed out the gas tank. It started right up and is working great.

I'm looking forward to chatting in the near future.

I like this site very much. I did not make that kind of thing. Now it's all learned.

Hello Sarabine.

It is good to know that this forum is helping you learn to fix and service your scooter.

Where are you from?

I can talk English pretty goodly, eh?

Seeing that we are part of the English Commonwealth...

Here, we are a bilingual country with English and French as our official languages. We can get by quite well with either. I speak both, but neither perfectly. I can surely curse in both and that's all that really matters to me! ;)

I too would like to be a great grandpa, but so far I've only been able to be a good one!

I think I have 14 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Hard to get them all to stand still for a count.
...my wife even knows all their names!
I do know my teenaged daughter's name, most days.
