I owned a 2013 Agility 50 as my first scooter (2 wheel period actually) and I loved every second. However where I live there’s nothing, you drive in a car 15-20 minutes at 60mph to get to the next town to actually do anything.
And we have hills like crazy.
So when I upgraded to the Xciting 400i, I’m suddenly able to go everywhere, and also it’s far more comfortable.
And I love it around town, not as nimble as the Agility, but still plenty.
When I traded in Natasha (the 153cc Honda PCX) for Diana (the X400i) it was like going from a go-kart to Formula 1. The fact that I could cruise at 50mph at 1/3 overall throttle was just mind-boggling, when I used to have to be at 80% throttle to do that. My behind notices the difference, and the knowledge of the extra power available to potentially get me out of trouble is a bit of peace of mind I didn't know I needed.
I had the absolute most pleasant drive into and from work today that you could imagine. Slight cloud cover meant that it was noticeably cooler, and I went to work at a time when the roads weren't nearly as congested as they usually are. I think I was about 10-12 minutes earlier than normal today, and it was great riding in. I made the 12.6 mile trip to work in a record 17 minutes. It normally takes me 19-21 minutes to make the trip in. Coming back, I was right at 19 minutes, because I caught two traffic lights.
I do not have the words to explain how much I appreciate the 400cc I have now. But I also, nostalgically, loved the 153cc I used to have. In the downtown area, she was unparalleled in quickness, agility, and maneuverability. Diana has some of the same quickness, not quite as much agility, and a little less maneuverability, but she has power and Ooomph that Natasha didn't have.
