Oil light lit up...what now??
« on: July 10, 2018, 09:28:23 PM »
Hi guys I have a 2012 Yeager 200i with 2500 miles while riding today the light went off so naturally I drove to my destination turned off the bike and checked the oil. The oil level seemed full (from checking it on the center stand and NOT SCREWING  in the dip stick) soooo...not sure what's next?

...could it be an oil sensor, an oil pump, don't know please help! Either way not a lot of miles to start having problems!

Thanks in advance!

haha dealer said it was most likely an oil pump and time to get a new scooter!!!!

It was the oil meter, just reset it and all good!

Thank you!

If you don't have an owner manual for your scooter you can get it here...https://www.kymcousa.com/admin/dealeronly/ownerman/onroad/Yager200i.pdf

It comes on every 600+ miles. Reset the maintenance odometer.
